What is lawn bowls?
Bowls is a challenging game, yet simple at the same time. It’s a sport you can play at any age and any ability. It can be played socially or competitively, as featured in the comedy movie Crackerjack.
How does lawn bowls work?
After each competitor has delivered all of his or her bowls (2-4, depending on the competition), the distance between the jack and the closest bowl(s) is calculated. Points (called “shots”) are then awarded for each competitor’s bowl that is closer to the jack than the opponent’s closest bowl. The winner is the person or team with the highest number of shots.
To enter the club rooms, you must provide evidence of double vaccination, as is required under Bowls Victoria rules.
