Korumburra Croquet Club

Published: 19 August, 2020 · Last Updated: 19 August, 2020

Korumburra Croquet Club decided to close its doors during the first lockdown as most of our members are in the vulnerable demographic.

However, once restrictions were eased a few stalwarts turned up to hone their skills while adhering to the DHHS & Croquet Victoria guidelines .

We managed to hold our AGM before the second lockdown and had a bit of fun with weird and wonderful millinery at the same time (featured in the Sentinel Times).

Croquet is mainly played in the warmer/dryer months – between September and May. It is one of the easiest sports in which to maintain social distancing. Members keep in touch during the off season by whichever means they have. Phone, text and email are the main forms of communication.

We are a positive group and are looking forward to the day we can enjoy our favourite game.
