Coal Creek Community Park and Museum

Coal Creek Community Park Logo

Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is a great day out for the whole family. Experience life in communities from the 1870-1920’s period.

The park features historic buildings from around the region – banks, the barber shop, blacksmith shop, homes, general store and more. It also features a bush tramway which takes you around the park and natural surrounds.

Feed the ducks and birds in the park or enjoy a picnic in one of the many scenic spots around the park.

Discover the history of coal in this region and see the tools the men used building lives for themselves and their families in South Gippsland.

Entry: Free, and gold-coin donation is greatly appreciated.

Discover half a million museum collection items on display in 50 buildings – many donated or on loan from local families.
