Korumburra Staying Strong

Some of the many ideas and thoughts shared by the community at our KSS event in October 2022

We are a group of community members who answered a callout from the Foundation of Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) who were willing to assist in building a resilient community through funding from their Disaster Resilience Future Ready program.

Korumburra was one of three towns chosen to be offered funding through FRRR within Victoria.
After a long process of discovery and design, FRRR has now funded us to deliver initiatives that will further enhance Korumburra to be a resilient community.

One of those initiatives is the Helping Hands project that will develop over time with a focus on connecting the community, volunteering and assisting community groups. The first project for Helping Hands is the partnership with Korumburra Community Development & Action Inc. (KCDA) to redesign this korumburra3950.com.au website and help to keep it updated to represent the rich community that is Korumburra.
