Korumburra Scrabble group

Normally, scrabble is played on a Thursday afternoon at the meeting rooms in Radovick Street.

Because of the restrictions on numbers and the guidelines regarding social distancing, we were unable to continue at that venue. It was also difficult to find a suitable venue when restrictions were eased as the meeting rooms were still out of bounds.

There's always Plan B, so some of the more adventurous players started playing each other online. Others are raiding the 'hibernation' pages of the daily paper and doing the puzzles there.

Because the town has a relatively small population, it's easy to keep in touch - even physically at the supermarket, the Farmer's market for example.

Like every other organisation, we are keen to get back to socialising normally - face to face. It's a bit hard to wear and share a triumphant, winning grin during an online game!
