Korumburra Landcare Group

Korumburra Landcare Group Inc. is a friendly and welcoming group of farmers, small land holders and urban dwellers who share a common passion to promote the care of country by revegetation and weed management, and the restoration of the natural environment on public and private land. We also raise awareness and provide education in sustainable agriculture and the natural environment.  

Our activities include community planting days, where members and other volunteers work together to plant 1000’s of indigenous plants. These hands-on days finish with a great lunch, where we get to relax and catch up with other landcarers. We also provide information sessions, farm walks and hands-on activities related to the natural environment and sustainable farming. New projects for 2024 include an Interpretive Trail Project on the Great Southern Rail Trail and formation of a Grower’s Group which will grow local indigenous plants for a range of projects. More projects are on the drawing board!
