Senior Citizens Energy Solutions Project

The Senior Citizens Energy Solutions Program has been granted funds to assist senior citizens with energy related information about their homes. The program aims to help save money on energy bills as well as making homes more comfortable throughout the year.

This advice will come through several home visits and chats with the home owners. We have been funded to do between 10 and 15 homes in the year and hold several public meetings detailing the project.

There will be reports to the participants with readily understood data, and an explanation on the issues discovered and opportunities for changes that can be made. There will be some analysis of their smart meter data and explanations about funding supports and possible fixes for easily rectified energy problems.
