- connect with community groups and encourage them to share news, events and volunteer opportunities via the korumburra3950.com.au website

- share content from the website in local community Facebook and Instagram groups and encourage community groups to share also
- compile and send an email newsletter each month with the latest news, events and notices

- respond and share enquiries via korumburra3950.com.au website with relevant community groups 

Community Emergency Management Plan Coordinator

Be part of important work to help Korumburra prepare for the next storm events

- coordinate meetings to design a community management plan with an FRRR facilitator

- identify and engage community members to participate in emergency management plan workshops

- work with the FRRR facilitator to finalise the emergency management plan from workshop outputs

- event planning for outreach event in Feb 2025, sharing the plan with the wider community

Korumburra Community Plan Project Coordinator

Help Korumburra renew and refresh our community plan. In 2017 community members came together to create a community plan for Korumburra, now 7 years later the majority of these ideas and initiatives have become reality. Now we need to look ahead to the next 5 to 10 years and decide what we want for our great town.

This role involves facilitating community members in creating a new plan for Korumburra. The Lions club of Korumburra and the Korumburra Staying Strong group have already collated 80+ ideas that the people of Korumburra have for our town. The next step is to identify a plan to bring these ideas to reality.
